Company DescriptionSymbio is a software company changing the way the world communicates.Our platform delivers the full communication stack, from carrier infrastructure to enterprise collaboration, across multiple Asia-Pacific regions.We bring together the telecom and software expertise that powers modern communications.Symbio is part of the Aussie Broadband Group, a fast-growing technology services provider, with a market cap of over $1 billion (AUD) and listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX: ABB).Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our core-technology division.  The Symbio corporate division includes the core technology, legal, finance, marketing and people experience teams that work across our global organisation.Reporting to the Business Intelligence Team Lead, this role will be responsible for creating business intelligence artefacts for the wider business.  This is a hands-on role where you will be required to understand reporting requirements and deliver BI solutions in a complex and demanding environment.  You will partner closely with business and engineering teams in converting data into insights and actionable items.The Business Intelligence Analyst will work in a frontline team for all BI reporting requests from business stakeholders, and will be responsible for solutioning, developing and supporting our BI reporting platform.  You will help Symbio in creating a data driven environment by leveraging latest BI tools and technologies.What you'll do as a Business Intelligence Analyst:Communicate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, identify data sets, and build reporting solutionsLiaise with stakeholders to assist with data-related issuesDevelop stable and secure BI reporting solutionsDesign generic datasets that can be used by multiple reports / dashboardsActively share knowledge with your entire teamIdentify and escalate issues / risksQualificationsWhat you'll need to succeed:2 years in BI space and demonstrated experience as Data/Business AnalystTelco experience is good to haveExperience in data analysis, visualisation, and business analysisExperience in Power Query, MDX and DAXUnderstanding of Row Level Security in PowerBIExperience writing complex SQL queriesExcellent communication skillsExcellent troubleshooting skillsContinually automate manual processes to drive efficiencyContinually self learns and improves your skillsets What's it like to work here?As a Symbion, you have flexibility to shape when, where and how you work.
