Senior Project Analyst

This role sits within our Finance department and will work with other leaders and project/program managers to support execution of Symbotic programs. In this role you will compile financial reports, including weekly and monthly monitoring of actual costs incurred against budgeted projects, preparation of Management Review Packages, and involvement with special projects.

In This Role

• Responsible for developing project budgets.
• Responsibilities will include compiling project cost data from various sources and analyzing it to identify changes, variances, and inefficiencies.
• Estimating cost to project completion and developing insightful ways to communicate progress.
• Monitoring cost of new programs to determine overall cost impact for current and future systems.
• Performed and analyzed Earned Value procedures across programs.
• Working with other groups throughout the organization to develop budgets for upcoming projects.
• Performed ad hoc analysis as required.
• 10-15% travel to our client sites.

What You'll Need

• BS/BA degree in Business Analytics or Mathematics preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of project financial analysis, project accounting or related experience.
• Experience reporting on multiple large (over $1 million) concurrent projects.
• Must understand advanced methodologies for project budgeting, actual cost accumulation, projections of cost to complete, variance analysis and accounting controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Advanced analysis skills with experience analyzing large data sets (lookups, pivot tables, and queries).
• Familiarity with BI Analysis Packages (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently.
• Comfortable handling confidential information.
• Thrives in a complex, fast-paced and potentially ambiguous environment.
• Ability and interest to work collaboratively with a wide range of technical disciplines (Finance, IT, Mechanical Eng., Electrical Eng., Project Mgmt., etc.).
