What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solutions Architect position at SymphonyRM?
A SymphonyRM Solutions Architect is a close partner to both our Customer Success, Product and Implementation Engineering teams. You are an expert at understanding a customer business needs, determining the appropriate solution and ensuring that the technical implementation achieves the desired outcome. Your goal is to ensure that our customers are using the SRM platform optimally and to the fullest extent.
To accomplish this, you will ask questions to make sure you truly understand your customer and their challenges. You will anticipate technical pitfalls and quickly devise a plan to overcome them. Internally, you will work closely with stakeholders across sales, product, engineering, product marketing, customer success, and the executive team.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the customer success, delivery and engineering to provide technical leadership on implementation projects from discovery to go live.
- Translate customer needs and use cases into technical solutions in the SymphonyRM platform.
- Ensure that designed solutions are delivered with high quality.
- Be a SymphonyRM platform evangelist. Excite and educate both internal stakeholders and customers on platform features.
- Participate in architectural conversations with Product and Engineering.
- Document and share best practices.
Requirements
- Prior experience working as a Solutions Architect, Technical Project Lead or other related cross-functional role.
- Highly skilled at applying consultative methodologies and techniques to influence solution design and solve customer’s pain points. Problem-solving is in your DNA!
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking a collaborative approach. Familiarity working with cross-functional teams across an organization to vet potential solutions and drive consensus.
- A critical thinker who defaults to a client-centric approach.
- Excellent communicator and relationship builder with both internal and external stakeholders. You should feel comfortable discussing and explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field OR relevant technical experience.
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Experience with Healthcare integration standards like HL7, FHIR, etc

- You have strong technical abilities to hold your own in debates with technical architects and engineers.
