OPT

SynapsIQ is looking for an entry-level RF Engineer who is interested in starting the career in Telecom industry. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to learn and perform Telecom Engineering fundamentals and work activities. · Receive assignments and deploy to cell site locations to install, commission and integrate Ericsson RBS equipment.

· Installing RBS equipment might (not necessarily) include power, grounding and external alarms.

· Using laptop and specialized software, load software and scripts to perform configuration as directed by Remote Integration Center.

· Calibrate the test phone in Engineering mode to desired band

· Perform PSAP and 911 Calls requested by client

· Perform Okla testing for through put check.

This is a strictly On-Site Role.

Requirements

· Bachelor of Science or Master of Science with a major program of study in Electrical/Electronics & Communications Engineering.1-2 years post-graduate work experience is also acceptable.

· Understanding of the fundamentals of engineering

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills required.

· Self-starter organized and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.

· Self-directed and establish own priorities to meet needs of organization.

· Go-getter attitude and ability to operate independently and as part of a team.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

· Must possess and maintain a valid US Driver’s License with a safe and satisfactory driving history.

· Ability to travel within a region/market and may be required to travel out of market on a project basis, as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
