What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Manager position at Synaty Tech?
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage and negotiate with vendors and a Managed Service Provider (ICS) and approve all invoices related to IT.
Manage and coach two Level 2 desktop support analysts to provide high-level IT support to 115 users, and help solve issues and assist with overflow tickets as needed. The firm is collaborative and team oriented, and the IT Manager must be prepared and willing to provide hands-on support when necessary.
Maintain the IT infrastructure of the firm’s building, including parking, security, and Wi-Fi, and phone systems.
Develop and project manage information security and building IT projects, adhering to budgets, project plans and Firm objectives.
Allocate resources to ensure that support is widely available, escalate demand requests when necessary, and provide information required for firm management to make prioritization decisions.
Oversee annual cybersecurity audits, conduct quarterly phishing tests, and continually measure the effectiveness of IT security capabilities.
Stay aware of the latest tools in legal IT, and implement up-to-date security developments to ensure the Firm remains at the forefront of any security-related developments that may affect the Firm and its clients.
Conduct annual trainings to improve firm-wide security awareness and instill a risk-aware culture in the Firm. Develop, maintain, and communicate firm-wide security standards, procedures, and guidelines and ensure adherence to those procedures are enforced.
Develop a strategic vision for the firm’s IT security program; organize resources for effective security policies, practices and processes; and develop an annual security plan.
Qualifications:
A minimum of five (5) years of leading and managing IT projects and/or operations preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
Four-year degree is preferred; Microsoft certifications or similar technical certifications are a plus.
First-hand knowledge of Imanage, Office 365, and Windows Server.
Knowledge of Active Directory and creating group policies, Mimecast, KnowB4, Sophos, and Qualys.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant information security compliance and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated experience with information security controls and related technologies including intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanning systems, authentication, Windows, application level security, and network monitoring tools.

Pay: $66,456.95 - $157,174.25 per year
