Job Posting for Video Editor at Syndicate

Consulting firm with a diverse set of clients in the private and public sector is looking for a video editor to work on projects, with a focus a client in news media.

Working directly with leadership and collaborating on a variety of projects, this role should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and assemble footage, apply artistic editing techniques and create finished, broadcast-worthy projects. The ideal candidate should have expert knowledge of modern video editing techniques, be able to visualize creative concepts and meet strict deadlines.

The Role:

  • Work independently and cooperatively on a range of video projects
  • Translate strategic direction into high-quality video that meets client guidelines and goals
  • Develop broadcast-worthy projects from start to finish

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience with editing software
  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • In-depth understanding of editing principles and a strong knack for creativity
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Strong portfolio of work

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with full Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of marketing principles
