Title: Data Analyst/Informatica Developer
Location: Jersey City NJ
Description:
Seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst and Informatica developer to join the team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, development, and migration activities. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with Actimize surveillance/Trade Surveillance, The Analyst/Developer will play a critical role in driving business growth, improving data quality, and ensuring seamless system integration.
Responsibilities: -
Perform data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs - Lead server updates and cloud migration projects to ensure seamless system integration - Work closely with the IT team to ensure data security and compliance - Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools - Analyze and troubleshoot data discrepancies and system issues - Understanding the scope of Project Management and be able to scale up to lend a hand when required.
Requirements: -
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field - At least 8-10 years of experience in data analysis and business analysis - Candidates must have more than 10 plus years of experience in Oracle/PL SQL, ETL/Informatica - Strong knowledge of Unix shell scripting - Hands on experience on Informatica Upgrade/Migration experience - Experience in data quality approaches and techniques is a must - Excellent written and communication skills and ability to clearly indicate data integration solution designs and implementations. - Agile experience - Financial Services / Banking experience - Build Release orchestration tools - Experience in working with larger projects involving multiple groups including nearshore and offshore teams - Performance Tuning experience - Strong SQL knowledge and ability to develop Informatica repository queries - Strong experience with server updates and cloud migration - Proven experience in the financial industry / compliance/ regulatory reporting/ fraud detection - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and presentation skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Proficiency in data visualization tools and programming languages (SQL)
