Our Challenge:
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to work on complex technical requirements. You will be responsible for managing multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Automation Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java and Python. Implement and maintain automation frameworks for web applications and APIs.
- ETL Testing: Perform ETL testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy across different systems. Write SQL queries to validate data transformations and data loading processes.
- API Automation: Develop automated tests for RESTful and SOAP APIs. Use tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar for API testing.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely test execution and reporting.
- Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with product owners and developers to define testing requirements. Execute test cases and document results in a clear and concise manner.
- Bug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Provide detailed reports on test results and defect status.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Requirements:
You are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in QA Automation testing.
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with strong knowledge of Java and Python.
- Experience with ETL testing and data validation.
- Strong SQL skills for database testing.
- Familiarity with API testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
It would be great if you also had:
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments.
