Description:
- Responsible for assisting the Quality Control Laboratory Supervisor to complete any necessary activities to test fuzzy, processed, and carryover cottonseed for quality standards.
- Performing tests in the lab which may include but is not limited to Moisture, Temperature, Free Fatty Acid, Genetic Purity, Visual Mechanical Damage, Adventitious Presence, Seed Count, pH, Seed Appearance, and Warm and Cool Germinations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- Open to recent graduate with Associates or Bachelors Degree .
- Reliability.
- Shows initiative.
- Learns the technical skills and can work unsupervised.
- Teamwork.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexible with change.
- Professional / Respectful.
- Utilizes down time to help out other areas.
- Open-minded and communicate professionally.
- Good Listener.

- Background in biology, lab experience, or agriculture experience preferred.
- Speaking Spanish is preferred.
