Job Description
- Our client seeking a skilled Project Estimator/Manager to join our team.
- The Project Estimator/Manager will be responsible for estimating the costs of construction projects, defining project scope, timelines, and resource requirements, creating project budgets and schedules, managing project costs, assessing project issues and risks.
- The role will involve frequent communication with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate estimating.
- Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, equipment, subcontractor bids, and labor.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Utilize software such as Bluebeam for accurate estimating.
- Monitor project progress and costs to ensure adherence to budget constraints.
- Project Estimating: 2 years (Required)
- Project Management: 2 years (Required)
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Proficiency in cost control techniques and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A strong background in construction estimating, project management, and cost control.
