Synerfac is seeking a Janitor for our client in Milford, VA. Our client has been in business since 1955, and supplies a comprehensive portfolio of pressure-impregnated kiln-dried lumber and plywood products for fire retardant and preservative applications.
You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout our industrial facility. Your duties will include but are not limited to : - Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and break areas- Emptying trash and recycling bins- Dusting and wiping down surfaces- Cleaning windows and mirrors- Assisting with minor maintenance tasks as needed- Following safety protocols and procedures at all times- Proven experience as a janitor or cleaner in an industrial or commercial setting - Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies- Ability to handle cleaning equipment and machinery safely- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
