Work as a Sales and Service Rep in Middlesex County :
Under the direct supervision of the Customer Service Manager:
Provides full range of sales and service, including sales lead follow-up, development of customer intimacy - particularly top ten accounts, generating quotations and sample requests, coding and maintaining customer orders, expediting orders, credit and collections, and other technical and administrative support.
1. Administer assigned sales territory.
2. Generate sales through sales follow-up and active participation with top ten accounts.
3. Promote new products through customer contact.
4. Provide customer service via phone, fax, or email.
5. Expedites orders to enhance customer satisfaction and/or 'rush' requirements.
6. Renders technical support to customers and potential customers.
7. Reviews customer requirements and prepares and issues quotations for customers and potential customers accordingly.
8. Generates monthly reports on quote, sample, and customer activity
9. Edits, codes, and enters standard and blanket orders.
10. Provides telephone coverage for all extensions on the system.
11. Innovate beyond the scope of official responsibility.
12. Position includes all other responsibilities that may be necessary to fulfill the duties associated with the position or as may be assigned.
Minimum of an Associates Degree in Business
Bachelor Degree is preferred
3-5 years in order entry/customer service.
Basic knowledge of PC systems
Attention to high detail
Ability to prioritize and schedule a wide variety of tasks
