Job Posting: Design Team Member

**Position:** Design Team Member

**Location:** Englewood, CO

**Responsibilities:**

- Follow standard work procedures for charrettes and shop drawings to ensure consistency and quality.

- Develop schedules within deadlines set by the Design Manager and monitor progress towards completion.

- Track open items and questions, ensuring timely resolution to avoid project delays.

- Collaborate with engineers to produce structural calculations and implement necessary fixes.

- Coordinate with external shop drawing vendors to facilitate the submission and review of design documentation.

- Convert architectural details to JR Butler standards to align with project requirements.

- Create 3D models to visualize transition details and enhance design comprehension.

- Support problem-solving activities and contribute to incident and change management initiatives.

- Escalate issues and non-standard work to the Team Lead for resolution.

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Mindjet, Adobe Creative Cloud.

- Strong spatial geometry and visualization skills.

- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.

**Knowledge:**

- Familiarity with JR Butler framing systems (CW, ribbon wall, storefront).

- Understanding of contract documents including architectural drawings, structural drawings, and specifications.

- Knowledge of general construction practices, means, and methods.

- Awareness of general manufacturing practices, means, and methods.

- Familiarity with building codes and regulatory standards.

**Training:**

- Four-year college degree in Architectural/Engineering or a related field with 1 years of experience, or 5 years of drafting experience.

**Compensation and Benefits:**

- **Salary:** $65,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

- **Vacation:** Starts with 3 weeks annually, with unlimited vacation approved after 3 years of tenure.
