LOCATION: 210 Synergy Center Blvd, Houma, LA 70360 (with travel requirements detailed below)
SCHEDULE: 40 HOURS (Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM)
REPORTS TO: Vice President Operations
POSITION SUMMARY: Serves in a business development role for the bank with particular focus on building relationships and conducting necessary reviews for Cash Management and Ebanking services. Works closely with Ebanking and lending officers to fulfill customer digital banking needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Serve as bank main point of contact for cash management services including working with the bank’s merchant services provider.
  • Set up ACH and Remote Deposit services on site for customers. Work with IT department for ordering of customer supplies as needed for Remote Deposit equipment.
  • Ensure all annual customer ACH and Remote Deposit reviews are completed in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with Ebanking department to ensure policy, procedures, and customer records and services are updated in a timely manner.
  • Record all business development calls and report to the appropriate bank officer.
  • Role model by possessing good work ethics and a good working knowledge of all cash management services.
  • Provide guidance for: bank regulations, required documentation for Cash Management services, and problem solving.
  • Ensure all required duties are completed in a timely manner.
  • Participate in quarterly cash management incentive program.
  • Participate in bank-sponsored community and business development activities.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures applicable to the position and bank employees.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: The position travel requirements include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Reliable personal vehicle (Use of personal vehicle required for carrying out daily duties, with monthly mileage reimbursement from bank).
  • Travel multiple times per week to meet with customers, conduct reviews, and troubleshoot customer issues on site.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in resource allocation and leadership techniques.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, typing and 10 key calculators.
  • Effective communication skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze information in order to draw a conclusion.
  • Ability to establish and maintain interpersonal relationships to relate with co-workers, customers, and peers
  • Ability to monitor and assess the performance of yourself or other individuals to make improvements or corrective action.
  • Ability to solve complex problems by identifying the problem, reviewing related information to develop and evaluation options and implement solutions.
  • Ability to analyze how systems should work and how changes to the system will affect those outcomes.
  • Ability to identify indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve performance to meet goals.

  • Deposit account product knowledge – understanding the terms and characteristics of the bank’s various deposit account products.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Ebanking & Cash Management Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION PREFERRED:
  • Associates or higher in Business or related area of study
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to work at a computer station in front of a monitor for up to 4 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to interact with the public utilizing various methods of communication.
  • Employee may be required to squat multiple times per day and remain in that position for short periods of time while accessing filing cabinets at ground level. This could occur as few or as many times as necessary to accomplish the required task.
  • Must be able to lift and carry approximately 20-30 pounds multiple times throughout the day.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have the attention span to stay alert and attentive during a normal 8-hour workday.
  • Must be able to make sound, quick decisions based on the facts of a situation, and remain calm and in control in a possible ever-changing environment or an emergency.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and procedures exactly as trained or as directed by his or her supervisor.
  • Must be able to listen to, grasp, and respond positively to supervision and instructions by Management.
  • Physical and cognitive ability to perform the essential duties and functions of his/her job.
  • Ability to safeguard and maintain confidential information as directed by Federal law and Company policy.
