Synergy is looking to hire a Behavior Technician to provide behavioral support to children in our network. A successful candidate will possess a passion for children and the desire to help them learn about themselves and the world around them. You should be committed to our core values of being supportive, reliable and resilient. You'll be required to work closely with teachers, clients, and parents, so it's important that you have strong communication skills and enjoy working with people. We are looking for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for the Kennesaw, GA.
- 1 for Kennesaw, GA | Part-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00am -12pm
- Natural environment Sessions
Responsibilities:
- Monitor client behavior and provide feedback to the treatment team.
- Assess client behavior and recommend changes to facilitate the client's recovery.
- Document client behavior.
- Communicate with families regarding client status and treatment progress.
- Provide one-on-one behavior interventions to increase communication, appropriate play, cooperation, daily living, and social skills utilizing the principles of ABA
- All programs will be directed with the daily support of a Program Supervisor, and ongoing training and guidance will be provided through frequent collaboration and coaching
- Engage children, provide reinforcement, and implement ABA techniques, while providing direct instruction and teaching appropriate functional play and social skills
- Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the treatment plan
- Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals
- Participate in team meetings and training workshops
- Ensure that the client is in a safe and positive environment at all times
