The Credit Administrator position is responsible for processing all credit applications including pulling credit reports and calling trade references, reviewing Certificates of Insurance (COI) and Tax-Exempt Certificates, and full administrative support of the Credit Department, Sales and Branch Operations teams.

Research trade references including pulling credit reports and calling references
Monitor entire company aging identifying adverse collection issues and recommending appropriate actions to minimize credit risk
Responsible for ensuring customers have proper insurance coverage and maintaining the files
Responsible for maintaining customer records and updating any changes to accounts in our systems
Full administrative support to the Credit Department, Sales Team and Branch Operations
Tracking and reporting of credit applications for Sales Management team on a monthly basis
Tracking and entry of other Credit Dept expenses including legal fees

Required Education and Experience
Minimum 3 years Business to Business credit and collections experience in the construction industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Self-directed and excellent organizational skills
Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred
Military service will be considered in lieu of education/certification experience as applicable.

Environment is consistent with that of an office environment, using a computer, telephone, and other office equipment. May encounter interruptions throughout the workday office environment.
