Job Posting for Executive Director at Synergy Senior Management
Synergy Senior Management, a fast-growing company managing senior living communities throughout Eastern and Southeastern Michigan, is expanding and seeking experienced Full-Time Executive Directors. If you have previous management experience working within senior living facilities and truly enjoy working with seniors and within assisted living and senior living communities this could be the job for you!
Responsibilities:
Oversee the general health and performance of the community
Maintain a positive attitude and support the company mission statement
Monitor the operations of the community with a focus on resident and family satisfaction
Provide support to the management team and assist with positive results
Ensure all community open job positions are filled in a timely manner
Conduct interviews and oversee the completion of new hire paperwork, background checks, and reference checks
Oversee scheduling of employees and maintain appropriate staffing numbers based on occupancy
Assist in areas of financial management under the direction of the CFO
Submit financial information as directed by the CFO
Assist in invoicing residents monthly and follow through with overdue balances and resolution of overdue invoices and communication to the CFO
Maintain a good working relationship with families, residents, and medical professionals
Market to perspective outlets i.e. SNF's, doctors, etc. and develop a strong relationship with the community on a monthly basis.
Responsible for the maintenance of the facility; repairs, budget, etc.
Other responsibilities as required
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED, required
Bachelor's Degree in related field and/or comparable experience is required
At least 2 years of people management experience is required
At least 2 years of senior living/assisted living operations and/or management experience is required
Excellent communication, organization skills, with the ability to multitask
Ability to motivate and grow the professional staff, be a competent administrator of policies and procedures and have the willingness and skills to monitor and control the activities assigned
Ability to maintain positive and professional interactions with residents and families at all times
Exemplary computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel; Payroll and Timekeeping systems, Scheduling Software, etc.
