Lab Tester

Overview
The Lab Tester will be responsible for conducting tests on concrete and soil samples within a laboratory setting to assess their properties and suitability for civil or geotechnical engineering projects. They will also manage the lab's organization and may grow into a supervisory role. The job is like being a science detective who tests dirt and building materials in a lab to help make sure they are good for building things like roads and buildings. This person also keeps the lab tidy and might become the boss of the lab later.

Duties

• Take ownership of the lab, ensuring its organization and efficient operation
• Conduct thorough testing and analysis in line with industry standards
• Support the development and implementation of lab procedures and protocols

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Concrete/Soil testing
• Educational or professional background in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
• Prior lab supervisory experience is advantageous
