What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Synergy Solutions?
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Scan material for inventory control and place in appropriate area
- Stock parts in cells/lines/racks/warehouse
- Ability to safely stack coils per materials department requirements
- Move material to and from cells as required
- Control first in – first out of material
- Maintain a clean and orderly shop floor and warehousing areas
- Work closely with supervisor and Team Leaders to maintain smooth material flow to and from production areas
- Support shipping/receiving as needed
- Perform weight counts as needed to ensure accurate inventory
- Keep shop floor stocked with returnable dunnage as needed
- Assist Production Planning with cycle counting as required
- Perform other various duties as required by your supervisor
