Land Surveyor

Synergy Staffing, LLC has been chosen to recruit for an Land Surveyor. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Since 1917, our client has provided a variety of services including civil engineering, land surveying, urban planning and design and project management to state, municipal and private sector clients. Throughout the years, our client has kept pace with the changes in technology that have transformed the way that survey work is performed.

Job Description:

We are looking for someone who enjoys the client side of land surveying and who has experience or an interest in preparing proposals and project budgets. This position offers tremendous growth opportunity and will require knowledge or desire in the following areas:

• Transportation, preparation of right of way plats and Transportation Project Plats
• Municipal Infrastructure
• Private Development
• Familiarity with supervision or performing data collection, processing data in Civil 3D for Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, ALTA/ASCM, Subdivision Plats, Certified Survey Maps and Design Survey information
• Construction Staking or Supervision with the proper documentation
• Boundary Surveys
• Land Records Research
• Familiarity with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Facility Development Manual

What You'll Need to Win:

• Proficient in operating Topcon Total Stations, Trimble 5700, 5800 and R8 GPS Receivers; Trimble 5600, S3 and S6 Robotics
• AutoCAD proficiency is a must
• Knowledge of Civil 3D (preferred)
• Valid driving license and driving record acceptable to our client's Company insurance provider
• Registered Land Surveyor in the State of Wisconsin and Illinois or ability to become registered within 3 to 6 months of employment will be required

Compensation: Up to $120k (willing to negotiate, sign on bonus, etc.)

Location: Janesville, Beloit, or Elkhorn, WI

Pay: Up to $120,000.00 per year
