Billing Specialist - Construction - Hybrid

A growing Johnson County construction company is seeking a Billing Specialist to add to their staff. Great benefits!

The Billing Specialist will be responsible for a variety of duties that include:

  • Responsible for billing customers
  • Prepare subcontractor and vendor invoices
  • Verification and authorization of billable activities
  • Review bills for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
  • Provide lien waivers when requested
  • Manage certificates of insurance
  • Handle payment inquiries
  • Communicate to all internal and external customers and business associates for accounting needs
  • Prepare vendor statement reconciliation
  • Any other needs as assigned by the manager

Skills required for Billing Specialist ​:

  • 3 years billing experience
  • Construction experience a strong plus
  • Experience with SAGE, Great Plains or similar accounting software a plus
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent MS Office experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
