About this opportunity:
We are looking for a Project Manager to support the delivery and coordination of multi-functional global projects within the supply chain function at Syngenta. You will possess a strong change management skillset to be able to embed the smooth transition of projects into steady state which will lead to successful benefits realization and delivery on customer expectations. You will work closely with the Sponsors and Program Managers to support the mobilization and daily operations of individual projects / delivery teams within the overall program framework. You will take overall responsibility for successful implementation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and completion of multiple projects.
You will be accountable for:
- Management of projects with a budget of approximately $1m-$25m.
- The successful delivery and scale-up of new digital tools and business processes with a strong focus on customer experience.
- Development and monitoring of project plans including integrated schedules, budget, quality management, resource planning and communications.
- Preparation of regular project and program management reporting including, but not limited to: steering committee material, budget summaries, project dashboards, balanced scorecards, and Risk, Issue, Dependency and Assumption Logs.
- Engagement of key stakeholders, both internally and externally, across all regions and functions to support the change management journey.
- Helping to maintain consistently high standard project management activities using recognized standards and best practices, utilizing Syngenta’s 3PM framework and sharing effective tools/techniques with the wider practice.
- Coordinating and tracking all interdependencies between projects within the program, either directly or through program workstream leads.
- Drive the rigor to manage milestones, and effectively manage changes or scope creep which could derail the critical path.

Knowledge & experience:
- Program or project management experience, ideally with a qualification in one of Syngenta’s recognized approaches (e.g. PMP, Prince2, MSP, Agile Scrum, etc.)
- Knowledge of Project and Program management recognized best-practices and frameworks, such as MSP and PMBoK.
- Experience working in supply chain operations and eHSE
- Experience working in complex, global environment where many project members and stakeholders are remote.
- Experience working with standard project management methodologies and tools, including: Microsoft Teams & Office Applications; Smartsheets;
- Leading governance meetings and driving the agenda for decision making with the stakeholders
- Understanding of the political pressures on stakeholders and the business realities they face.
- Experience within large-scale global software or systems integration projects highly desirable.
- Experience working in Hybrid Agile-Waterfall projects desirable
- Appreciation of Manufacturing beneficial, but not mandatory
- Fluent in EnglisH
