Conference Events Manager
Get Inspired by the Work You'll Do
Work with 3rd party vendors and suppliers on event operations tools. Including: contracting, billing, and training team on functionality.
Create and update conference RFP’s as needed to match program needs and expectations.
Oversee site selection from start to finish. Including: working with 3rd parties, conducting site visits, negotiating contracts, and getting internal approvals.
Work Directly with the internal creative agency for conference to identify conference needs for Services, and specific directional and informational signage
Create and maintain conference budgets, report numbers to upper management as needed.
Create and maintain project deadlines, relay and follow-up with key conference team members on assigned tasks.
Report on final budget numbers, pick-up reports, and space patterns for future events. Identify strengths and weaknesses and work with appropriate groups to maximize success and minimize future issues.
Work with the Director of events on maintain event and conference assignments and calendars.
Follow up on event assignments to keep team on task and on budget.
Seek out industry conferences and events to stay informed about current industry standards and few ideas.

Ability to take responsibility for projects and deadlines, and take criticism well.
Additional Job Requirements:
College degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college preferred
3- 5 years of event planning, marketing, or project management
Experience with production, creative development, or video/stage management
Knowledge and previous experience with meeting, event and incentive programs and participant registration preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly, as well as put in additional hours when needed
Must have a valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel to all states, Canada, and Latin America
Knowledge of CVENT, or other registration software a plus
Knowledge of the IT Channel a plus
Travel domestically for assigned events. 15%- 20% of your time will be traveling (including nights and weekends).
