This is a 3 & 1/2 day position. Approximately 29 hours per week. You would be working weekly at 2 of our locations. Our Oneida location 2 & 1/2 days per week and our Fayetteville location 1 day per week.
Duties include acting as a friendly, professional representative of the Practice who exhibits excellent customer service skills and helps to meet the needs of our patients, doctors and co-workers in a caring and compassionate way. You will be expected to work cohesively as a member of our oral surgery assistant team while executing the following duties: assisting the dentist(s) during surgeries and other procedures, holding airways, administering medications, taking vitals, starting IV’s, taking x-rays and other imaging studies, setting and cleaning up of dental operatories, sterilization according to osha standards, patient instructions & education, use of dental software system, and other miscellaneous duties. Training is provided.
Must be a team player, able to work as a member of a team as well as independently, work in confined spaces, have excellent communication and organizational skills, be versatile, able to take direction from others, work with a trainer, and meet the basic job requirements of your duties and assigned work days and hours.
Some travel to other locations will be required.
Individuals with a CDA, RDA, LPN, or RN and/or experience of 1-2 years of clinical experience in the dental or medical field may apply.
Wage dependent on experience.
