0JOB SUMMARY
Assist Distribution Management with the daily clerical function of the distribution department. Also assist with warehouse functions, and performing other duties at the request of the Supervisor or Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check driver’s daily documentation. Complete daily driver check-in report. Process COD’s. Collect driver’s phones.
- Communicate with management on any driver / delivery issues that arise during the day.
- Assist walk-in customers.
- Select second run orders as needed.
- Create report of daily special orders and write-ups for management
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- AS400 experience
- Detail oriented.
- Strong 10-key skills.
- Good communication skills.
Professional Skills
- Proven ability to communicate articulately and perform simple arithmetic (Experience in handling money preferred)
- Electric pallet jack experience preferred
