JOB SUMMARY
Under general supervision, provide general clerical support of night shift warehouse operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate, clear flags and export orders in BFC Dakota in the truck builder for night shift selectors.
- Communicate with the routing department for special instructions on a nightly basis.
- Collate all labels, check-offs and load sheets for night shift operation.
- On a daily basis, complete all duties shown on the daily list.
- Track and record shipping statistics for the night shift on a nightly basis.
- Review catchweight data input for accuracy.
- Develop invoices for all routes.
- Collect and distribute all needed documentation for the transportation department.
- Adhere to all applicable good manufacturing practices (GMP), personal hygiene, and safe quality food (SQF) policies and procedures as described in the European imports – Sysco food safety training manual.
- Assist in product recalls as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is required.
Experience
- 1 – 2 years of previous keyboarding experience utilizing a keyboard to enter, retrieve and manipulate data is required.
- Previous data entry experience on a PC is preferred.
Professional Skills
- Basic Excel skills are required.
- Good communication skills are required.
Working Conditions:
- General working conditions – exposed to adverse conditions 5% or less of the time.
- May occasionally be exposed to adverse environmental conditions (0 – 32 degrees).
Supervision Received:
- General supervision is received from the night warehouse manager.
