- Experience with hardware testing and with Linux are the two key requirements. If the candidates are light on automation and/or virtualization, we can work with that provided that a) they have demonstrated desire and some level of exposure to automation and/or virtualization, and b) they are good with hardware testing and Linux.
- I would agree that candidates who want to focus more on design, would not be suitable for this role.
- I'd be willing to talk to candidates from smaller firms / not FSI, provided they can demonstrate a security mindset. Biggest challenge that previous candidates from startups have had is adapting to the risk / controls environment at JPMC.
