Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Bring best practice and commitment to problem solving including skills to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex problems and queries, and escalate as appropriate according to defined processes.
- Elicit stakeholder requirements using interviews, workshops, and workflow and data analysis to develop wireframes, activity diagrams, visualizations, and data requirements.
- Possess the ability to distill information based on specific user/business needs, as well as decompose high level requirements, into detailed functional requirements.
- Author requirements in the form of pseudocode (SQL logic) for the development and traceability of clinical metrics.
- Coordinate requirement walk-through and sign-off with stakeholders to ensure sessions use cases and process models accurately portray specific business needs.
- Contribute to defining and improving best practices, processes, and standards.
- Work closely with the technical and the quality assurance teams to ensure business needs are accurately translated into functional technical solutions and delivered as an error free product.
- Ensure detail design documents accurately reflect customer needs and expectations.
- Contribute as a key member of the assigned SCRUM team.
- Maintain and groom product backlog and contribute to sprint definition exercises.
- Recognize and accept that job responsibilities may necessitate having access to sensitive information including Protected Health Information (PHI) and other Personally Identifiable Information (PII) including customer financial information as well as proprietary business information and the requirement to hold such information in strict confidence during and after their employment with the client.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong business analyst experience functioning as a bridge between technologists, product owners, and subject matter experts
- Experience using SQL for analysis and troubleshooting data
- Experience creating reports and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI, or similar BI tool.
- Full lifecycle experience implementing business intelligence projects involving data requirements, conceptual data modeling, data integration, visualization, and advance analytics.
- Intermediate knowledge of dimensional modeling and ETL processes, Data Warehouse and DataMart.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective facilitation skills to manage requirements meetings, workshops, end user demos and user acceptance testing.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple demands in a rapidly changing, team-based environment.
- A willingness, desire, and aptitude to learn modern technologies and domains.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
Desired Qualifications:
- Business or Data Analyst certification
- Experience with the Agile methodology
- 4 years of business analysis experience and requirements documentation in software development
- Experience in Use Case diagramming, Business Process Mapping, Sequence and Activity diagramming, and UML.
- Experience in multi-tier web application architecture, preferably for data capture.
- Health Care industry experience (patient data collection and reporting, and accreditation)
Experience with interventional cardiology terms and applications
Salary : $80,000 - $92,000
