Function:
Provide administrative support to the companies’ benefits program, supporting an employee population of approximately 3500 employees across multiple states, interfacing with the Payroll Team and other company HR representatives and employees.
Description:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the company’s benefit programs such as enrollment questions, auditing, processing invoices, funding requests, uploads, open enrollment, wellness initiatives, etc.
- Maintains data integrity of the company benefits system (ADP-Workforce Now). Validates and audits data on an ongoing basis to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinates all leave of absence requests and paperwork. Corresponds with employees, providers and insurance carriers.
- Leads informational and training sessions on company benefits to new hires and open enrollment period.
- Calculates the proper prorated paycheck benefits deductions for terms
- Effectively interprets FMLA, ADA and state policies as they relate to leave of absences.
- Manage the benefits email inbox.
- Assists in the handling of benefit inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution.
- Acts as liaison between employees and insurance provider.
- Resolves any problems or disputes regarding provision of benefits
- Responsible for generating company reports as needed.
- Participates in staff and vendors meetings, conference calls and other meetings as needed.
- Documents and maintains Benefits Process Manual.
- Communicates with all necessary parties to ensure accuracy of all appropriate details.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
- Stays up-to-date on state and federal regulations concerning insurance and other employee benefits
- Handle special HR projects and other administrative tasks as required by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Human Resources and 2-5 years benefits administration experience
- Must have excellent organization and interpersonal skills; effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Working knowledge of benefits and procedures
- Excellent Computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite and ADP Workforce Now
