Bilingual Residential Counselor
Location: Voorhees, NJ
Bilingual Residential Counselor Job Duties:
- Engages in caring supervision and structure for youth in residence which is consistent with stated goals and objectives
- Provides life skills education and goal setting groups
- Co-leads recreation and physical education activities scheduled during shift
- Provides one-to-one assistance and engages youth
- Provides transportation to and from appointments
- Serves as a positive role model
Bilingual Residential Counselor Job Requirements:
- Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
- The Residential Counselor position requires patience, dedication, understanding, and a passion for engaging and providing supervision and structure for youth living in a residential treatment setting.
- Provides direct counseling services, instructs and guides youth informally throughout their day to day activities, and co-leads recreation and physical education activities.
- High School Diploma required.
- At least two years experience working with youth.
- Must have ability to provide leadership, be a role model, and relate positively to youth.
- Current driver's license with an good driving record of at least three years.
- Vehicle with current insurance and registration.
