Data Analyst I

Our client is looking for the following:
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate to design and develop schemas and data acquisition, transformations, and data integration.
- Develop and utilize software to interface big data and relational solutions.
- Design and implement solutions for metadata, data quality, privacy management.
- Support and consult with the development staff.
- Collecting and interpreting data
- Analyzing results
- Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business
- Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
- Working alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish business needs.
- Defining new data collection and analysis processes
- Role will include data entry into the SAP ERP system as well as problem solving to troubleshoot day to day issues in a fast-paced DSD snacks environment. The candidate will take large data dumps out of SAP that need to be manipulated - will be using formulas and keeping track of where they are in the spreadsheet.
With the following credentials:
Requirements:
- Technical Degree or related work experience
- Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
- High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large scale databases.
- Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
- Must have the ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and learn quickly while being detail oriented and provide excellent customer service.
- Proven MS Excel experience a plus - v lookups, pivot tables and manipulate large amounts of Excel.
