*** Contract position for 6 month;
*** REMOTE WORK -- however, FIRST preference will be given to candidates who are either local or can relocate for on-site work (hybrid schedule) to: Pittsburgh PA, Cleveland OH, Birmingham AL, Dallas TX, Phoenix AZ
Data Scientist :
- Develop data science solutions to enhance bank operations
- Collaborate with a team of data scientists of varying levels to complete use cases
- Analyze, prepare, and wrangle data for analytical purposes
- Design and implement advanced analytics models
- Develop deployment scripts for production environments
- Communicate findings and present results to stakeholders
- Lead and contribute to the completion of various data science use cases
Required Qualifications (Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications) :
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, etc
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language
- Extensive experience with data science libraries and frameworks, including Scikit-Learn, XGBoost, and LightGBM
- Demonstrated expertise in Apache Spark for big data processing
- Solid understanding of statistics and Bayesian statistics specifically
- Proficiency in deep learning libraries such as Keras/TensorFlow, PyTorch, or MXNet
- Strong SQL skills for database querying and manipulation
- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments
