About The Opportunity:

This is a demanding role with virtually unlimited upside to expand responsibility.
We are looking for someone with an engineering background that can convert technical solutions into executable deal terms. You will need to be able to take awarded deals from the sales team, work with project engineering, legal and other internal and external teams to provide contract documentation that provide a clear path to execution.
It takes a village to close a successful deal for both company and our clients. We need a team player help us close large complex deals, meeting demanding timelines (and demanding clients!) while providing win-win solutions for all stakeholders.
Employee Duties and Responsibilities:
- Commercial responsibility for large utility scale equipment supply deals.
- Responsible for identifying, communicating, and negotiating specific contractual and commercial risks.
- Responsible for accurately taking project scope and transferring to technical and non-technical exhibits.
- Work with internal and external counsel on deal negotiations.
- Proactively work with customers, project engineering, sales, and senior management as necessary to ensure contract requirements are acceptable.
- Manage risk through deal terms that reflect a risk level appropriate for an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
- Communicate concisely with all team members.
- Participate in setting goals and contributing to proactive team efforts to achieve Commercial department and company goals.
- Contribute to building a positive team spirit and infusing energy and fun into the Commercial organization.
- Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of other parties.
- Always maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity.
- Close Deals
- Bachelor’s degree – Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar is a must.
- MBA is a plus.
- At least five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in engineering, contract negotiation, commercial, sales, or legal.
- Technical projects, Contracting, Commercial, Legal background. An ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Ability to work with engineering concepts and translate them into technical exhibits and contract terms.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to write concise reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and management.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
