Product Design Engineer Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Work Schedule: 4/10A - 1st Shift
Security Clearance: Secret (Active Secret Clearance preferred. Candidates must have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance.)
Job Description: Seeking an experienced Product Design Engineer to support the development, preparation and release of drawings and Bill of Materials documents to support the release of fabrication and procurement requirements necessary to support the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase, and Enhanced Operational Capability (EOC), of the program. This entails test hardware configuration item drawings and associated lists being designed, coordinated and released in the Digital Product Lifecycle Management (DPLM) tool.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and release drawings and assembly parts lists to establish EMD/EOC hardware requirements for the Production Qualification Ground and Flight Test program.
Create and process engineering release (ER) documents, generate solid models, create and release drawings, perform tolerance analyses, and provide support to Production Planning, Operations, and Global Supply Chain.
Support Material Review Board Engineering (MRBE) Qnotes and Supplier Deviation Waivers.
Provide Missile & Pod Integration support in Camden, Arkansas.
Occasionally travel as needed to support production or supplier engagements.
Required Experience:
Minimum 6 years of experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.
Minimum 6 years of experience supporting hardware build and test.
Minimum 6 years of experience with CREO.
Minimum 6 years of experience with Microsoft Office Tools.
Experience with hardware build and integration support, including troubleshooting.
Desired Experience:
Experience with Model-Based Definition and fully annotated 3D CAD models is highly desired.
Additional Comments:
Candidates must be local to the Grand Prairie, TX LM site and able to work onsite 4 days per week.
Active Secret Clearance is preferred. Candidates must have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
