What are the responsibilities and job description for the Document Control / Scanning position at System One?
SUMMARY
- Receiving of engineering and construction documents, scanning, and import indexing documents, verifying and uploading documents into databases, and storing and retrieving all work files and records
- Turning paper documents into a digital copy using scanning equipment for retrieval or archiving
- Managing and storing files on a computer and inspecting the quality of output regularly
- Review of files prior to scanning to include, but not limited to, researching of missing documentation, review and updating of electronic tracking for applicable documents
- Ensure that all scanning and indexing of documents is completed efficiently and accurately
- 1st shift, M-F - 100% on-site
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School education or GED
- 2 years of related experience
- Attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Prior experience utilizing digital imaging/scanning equipment
- Strong PC and MS Office skills
