System One is currently seeking an Industrial Engineer for a direct hire opportunity in Raymond, MS.


Overview:
The Industrial Engineer supports assembly operations through workflow analysis, plant layout optimization, process improvement, and cost estimating.

Responsibilities:

  • Improve product flow using Kaizen events, plant rearrangement, assembly cell design, etc.
  • Generate cost estimates for new product development
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify opportunities for process optimization and labor efficiency improvements.
  • Implement 5S methodology to organize workspaces and improve visual management, resulting in a safer and more efficient work environment.
  • Participate and lead continuous improvement projects to reduce setup times, improve equipment utilization, and enhance overall operational performance.
  • Other assignments as deemed appropriate by management


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering required
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient with AutoCAD 2D drafting
  • Experience with plant layout and product flow analysis
  • Experience with line balancing
  • Experience with one-piece flow assembly line design
  • Process improvement experience
