Job Title: Project Manager - Engineering
Location: Devens, MA
Durantion: 5 month contract
Must Haves:
- BS/MS Engineering
- 5-7 years’ experience in an FDA regulated industry supporting project management for capital projects in a GMP environment, ideally for API's, particularly focusing on construction, facilities, and utilities
- Ability to work with construction and engineering teams to establish the right schedule
- Understanding of where trades overlap in a production facility setting
- Experience in project management, identifying opportunities to accelerate schedule
- Technical background with knowledge of blending and tilling equipment and processes is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a capital project in a GMP regulated API production facility (Coordinate the installation of reactors for chemical synthesis in API manufacturing)
- Identify equipment needs and coordinate with process engineers
- Ensure adherence to firm-designed drawings
- Manage the project budget, with a spend of $2.5 million
- Oversee the installation of tillers, trailer pump lines, and electrical systems
- Coordinate structural engineering aspects of the project
- Expected arrival and installation of a new vessel to support production
