What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at System One?
System One is assisting a public company in the Fayetteville/Northwest Arkansas area with a search for a Senior Accountant. This position will do a lot of acquisition accounting, where results of acquired companies will need to be analyzed on an individual level and company wide.

- Assist in the preparation of the company's financial statements and related disclosures
- Execute month-end, quarter-end and annual close process, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and timely
- Work with recently acquired companies to ensure reporting and information received is accurate
- Support the financial reporting team to ensure that total company reports are accurate and include the financials of recently acquired companies, according to guidelines
- Assist with the annual audit process
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Accounting experience with acquisitions a plus
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with leadership potential
- Proficient with Excel and computer systems. Experience with a system implementation helpful
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
