- You have proven experience establishing strong communication and collaboration between cross functional teams both government and contractors

- B.S. and 5 years' experience as a Release Manager/Lead in a SAFe Agile, enterprise-scale software development program within the Federal Government
- Experience managing the overall release schedule across a highly complex program
- Demonstrated experience scheduling, planning, controlling, and enhancing the software's development and delivery process across multiple cross-functional teams (e.g., front-end, middle-tier, back-end development, and infrastructure and networking components)
- Managed user stories and defects aligned to each release and shepherding them through 15 development, test, and production environments
- Skilled in conducting integrated release planning sessions, release readiness reviews, and business Go/No-Go reviews by successfully executing deployment plans and checklists
- Ability to effectively negotiate and baseline release dates across multiple Product Owners (POs) and technical teams
- Ability to identify and manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality to include triaging defects in coordination with the development team
- Deep understanding of technical change management processes to include initiating change requests for approval
- Unparalleled attention to detail and organization skills
- Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively and transparently communicate across all levels of the program to include Government and other contractors for risks, issues, dependencies and blockers
- The ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Scrum Master Certification (CSM)
- Proven experience working in fast-paced SAFe agile environment
- Demonstrated experience managing releases within a highly complex government environment
- Experience serving as a leader in in a highly visible, customer-facing role
What your day will look like:
- You'll be responsible and report to the Program Manager for all releases related activities of the team and actively work with them to identify and help resolve blockers to deployment.
- You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining release schedules & plans / roadmaps / dashboards to actively manage timelines, scope of each releases and dependencies
- You'll keep track of current status of each sprint / release (i.e. tested, failed, in development, etc.) and ensure both government and development teams are in sync on release status
- You'll maintain a release repository and managing key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
- You'll make improvements for manual and automated release processes and procedures
- You'll measure and monitor progress to ensure release are delivered on time and error free
- You'll manage risks and mitigation steps as part of the release process and escalate issues to appropriate government and company stakeholders
- You'll be responsible for holding environment-related checks before asking for approval or deploying the code into higher level environments
