System One is currently seeking a Switch Plan Writer on a 12-month contract position Located in Denver, CO.
The Switch Plan Writer analyzes business problems and articulates requirements to support process improvement opportunities. Prepares documentation of current and desired state. Develops requirements and builds a common understanding between process owners and solution developers. Role demands ability to assess process performance, strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience in preparing ROI statements for proposed investments.
Switch Plan Writer Responsibilities:
- Deliver clearly documented functional, system and process requirements.
- Works with clients to obtain requirements through interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, workflow analysis and use cases.
- Evaluates the information from those multiple sources to develop an understanding of the client???s business requests and needs and translates and refines the requirements into functional specifications.
- Preferred qualifications include construction clearance procedure expertise, a strong background in mapping/GIS softwares, and lineman experience.
Switch Plan Writer Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to lead a project or group.
- Construction clearance and switch plan process experience
Switch Plan Writer Experience:
- NMS Oracle mapping experience, Lineman field electrical clearance
- ADMS substation electrical experience
Duration: 12 months
Location: Denver, CO
Pay Rate: $48/hr.
