SA-TECH provides the U. S. Army, other U.S. agencies and allied nations with Aerial Target Flight Services (ATFS), operating and maintaining aerial target flight operations for any directed mission and aerial target flight operations and maintenance services at Fort Bliss, TX; White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM; and other Posts, Camps, and Stations (PCS) in the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside CONUS (OCONUS).
We are currently seeking to hire an Electronics Technician Maintenance I (ETM I) at WSMR based out of our facilities in Orogrande, NM. As an ETM, you’ll need to apply basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, such as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers and oscilloscopes. You’d have to apply your technical knowledge of electronics principles to determine equipment malfunctions, and then apply your skill to restore equipment to working condition, as well as to evaluate performance and reliability of prototypes or production modes. You’d work under close supervision, receiving technical guidance from a supervisor or higher-level technician and your work would be checked frequently for accuracy.
