Mechanical Designer

Systems West Engineers is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our engineering team.

We are a team of 50 skilled engineers, designers, and technicians, who are also bicycle commuters, photographers, volunteers, DIY fanatics, gardeners, skiers, hikers, and more. As both colleagues and friends, we enjoy working together to bring enthusiasm and a team-oriented focus on each strategically selected project.

The right-fit candidate enjoys producing mechanical systems design for complex, high performance buildings and takes pride in their contributions to the project. Candidates who excel in this role are proficient in Autodesk Revit 3D software and excel. This position requires the candidate to have basic knowledge and experience in HVAC systems – specifically, duct design and pipe sizing – as well as construction plans, HVAC load calculations, and mechanical equipment.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• 7 years of mechanical design
• 2 years of experience in HVAC consulting
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit 3D software

This is a full time, exempt position. Competitive pay, range of $65,000 – $95,000, DOE. Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plan with contributions and company performance bonus.
