CACI is seeking a Data Management Analyst to serve as an integral part of the Data Management Team in support of the LCS Navy Seaport Enhanced Program. This position is located in Washington D.C. As a DM-Analyst your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the tracking, reporting, auditing and managing of all CDRL correspondence. The DM-Analyst will draft CDRL Approval/Rejection letters in accordance with the Navy Correspondence Manual. The DM-Analyst will bring experience with Navy Data Management Procedures and an adept knowledge of Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Statements of Work (SOW), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
What You’ll Get to Do:
The Data Management Analyst duties will consist of but are not limited to:
- Support the US Navy's Littoral Combat Shipbuilding (LCS) Program for the Lockheed Martin (LM) and Austal variant LCS.
- Drafts and edits Contract Data Requirements Letter (CDRL) Response Letters to the shipbuilders using comments provided by government reviewers. Edit comments to the requirements of the Navy.
- Process PMS 501 Contract Data Requirements Letter (CDRL) Response Letters weekly for both ship variants.
- Log and track CDRLs in the NAVSEA Configuration Management (CM)/Data Management (DM) Oracle database.
- Identify and resolve issues which arise during the CDRL drafting process.
- Communicate with customers about the status of shipbuilder CDRL letters.
- Attend weekly progress report meetings as Data Management’s representative to provide status updates and answer questions about CDRL letters.
- Maintain the status of shipbuilder due dates and the accuracy of reports which are submitted to the Navy client.
- Perform monthly Quality Assurance checks on all deliverables which are sent to the client and/or shipbuilders.
- Train new Data Management team members.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- US Citizenship
- Active DoD SECRET Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related discipline
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively
- Experience with database management (Oracle environment)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Expert knowledge with Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Statements of Work (SOW)
- Expert knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
- Experience with Navy Data Management Procedures
