General Laborer

Job description

We are seeking an energetic, motivated individual to join our property management company as a General Laborer. In this role, you will perform general construction duties as assigned. This could entail duties such as installing interior finishes such as towel bars, doorknobs, toilet paper holders, mirrors, appliances. Moving and unloading products at the job site such as cabinets, toilets, showers, furnaces, and coils. Cleaning up jobsites. Driving forklift and or telehandler. Moving materials around the job site and to other job sites. Getting materials from the appropriate store. In addition to general labor, you will address common maintenance issues across multiple properties, perform repairs. You must be willing to address common property issues, such as electrical, plumbing, and heating. Scheduling and performing maintenance repairs from work orders across multiple properties. Installations of fixtures and appliances. Work hand in hand with the property manager to keep town homes up-to-date and running optimally for occupants.

General Laborer Job Requirements:

• Some experience is preferred in Construction and/or Maintenance
• Knowledge of plumbing, heating, HVAC, and electrical systems is helpful
• Must be able to move materials and equipment weighing up to 80 pounds
• Repetitive use of hands for simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation required
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, ladder and stair climbing and occasional crawling and twisting are a must to perform the basic functions of the job
• Must have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must be able to follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
• Qualified applicants must possess valid driver's license, reliable transportation of their own
• Must be willing to take and pass a drug and background check
• Travel may be required from site to site
• Must be able to take direction and complete tasks as assigned
• Willing to work outdoors & a fast paced environment
• 18 years of age

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience
