Financial Analyst

Job Description: We’re looking for a highly skilled financial analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience analyzing financial data and developing profit-focused action plans, including trend forecasting and variance monitoring. They should also provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve the financial performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc) taking into account company’s goals and financial standing.
• Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the field.
• Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.
• Create written reports that enable management teams to make strategic decisions to meet business goals.
• Analyze historical and current financial data to understand the company’s financial status.
• Assists in preparation of all necessary contracts and budgets.
• Interfaces with auditors and provides all back-up documents when requested; facilitates preparation of annual independent audit.
• Helps to over see billings functions to ensure all billings are collected in a timely manner.

Education and Qualifications

• ·Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in finance, economics or accounting or related field
• 2 years of experience in the field or in a related field
• Excellent reporting, presenting and communication skills.
• Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications
• Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments
• Attention to detail when reviewing potential investments, as small issues may lead to large complications for the overall health of an investment.
• Experience in financial forecasting and trend analytics.
• Bilingual Preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
