Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Farmer to join our team. As a Farmer, you will be responsible for various tasks related to animal care, equipment maintenance, and crop cultivation. This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic and a passion for farming. Duties: - Perform animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, watering, and monitoring the health of livestock - Maintain clean and safe living conditions for animals - Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment - Conduct repairs and maintenance on farm equipment as needed - Plant, cultivate, and harvest crops - Irrigate fields as necessary - Use power tools to construct and repair farm structures - Perform basic math calculations for measuring and mixing feed or fertilizer - Handle equine care including grooming, feeding, and exercising horses - Assist with heavy lifting and manual labor as required Requirements: - Proven experience in animal care and husbandry - Mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and maintenance - Familiarity with farm machinery operation - Proficiency in using power tools for construction and repair work - Ability to irrigate fields effectively - Basic math skills for measuring feed or fertilizer quantities - Experience with equine care is a plus - Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and perform manual labor Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
