Together, we won’t stop! Job Overview The HR Data Analyst supports T-Mobile employees by making HR data easy. This role is for an empowered team member to promote efficiency and productivity in T-Mobile's four core HR systems, while accurately monitoring and maintaining HR foundational and employee-specific data, including work authorization compliance. The individuals in this role regularly collaborate with other areas of the business, use their judgement and analytic skills to research and troubleshoot anomalies, minimize risk and solve system errors and issues. The HR Data Analyst maintains their knowledge of HR governance and legislative requirements to protect T-Mobile's assets and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset and a get it done work style with subject matter expertise in HR Information Systems. HR functional experience with an understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management. Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements. Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams in a fast-moving and dynamic business environment. Job Responsibilities: Understands and represents critical HR system foundational data and employee lifecycle data processes and programs, executes data transactions and corrections, and provides instructional support to employees, managers and partners on how to complete and correct self-service transactions. Includes ability to follow and interpret the flow of data across multiple systems. Independently uses critical thinking and good judgement to execute data transactions and scheduled activities with financial implications. Assist with individual and mass entry of critical HRIS data, such as confidential salary data, job attributes, org structures and employee feedback, Communicates regarding every aspect of Workday functionality. Executes regular and periodic audits by interpreting data and validating entries to ensure the accuracy of HR data and work authorization compliance. Builds and retrieves reports, analyzes results and monitors workflow of HR transactions to ensure timely completion and correct or prevent errors. Manages resolution of errors by working with business partners, managers and employees. Participate in the development of HR metrics. Collaborates with cross-functional HR and business teams to administer HR data and lifecycle programs. Advocates for timely, accurate data, reporting and analytics within the HR Information Systems. Also responsible for representing and explaining data and lifecycle processes in enterprise initiatives and projects as assigned (example: annual compensation review, re-organizations). Represents Employee Lifecycle Services team as a subject matter expert on company-wide projects, evaluates configurations that implementation and development partners have completed, performs UAT testing and validates data. Analyze data to reach conclusions and offer recommendations/solutions to customers and management. Suggests and implements adjustments to processes as business, systems, and regulations dictate. Participates in process improvement efforts for HR Operations programs. Prepares and updates process documentation for HR Data and HRIS processes. Education: Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) High School Diploma/GED (Required) Work Experience: 2-4 years Experience in management of employee lifecycle data in Workday or other HRIS system including functional understanding of org structures and basic HRIS system table maintenance () Experience actively participating in process improvement initiatives. () Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Process Improvement Experience actively participating in process improvement initiatives. (Required) Analysis Ability to solve problems through quantitative and qualitative analysis in a team-based environment. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. (Required) Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skill. Able to communicate technical information effectively with all levels of management. (Required) Customer Service Demonstrated customer focus with ability to deliver an exemplary customer experience. (Required) Change Management Self-driven with ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently to change and adopt new tools and resources to improve processes. (Required) Microsoft Office Experience working within the MS Office Suite. (Required) Microsoft Excel Strong skills in Excel with regard to formulas and charting. (Required) Organizing Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multitask as necessary to meet SLAs and deadlines. (Required) HR Consulting Proven ability to partner and consult with internal stakeholder teams to understand strategy and translate business requirements into HR system design/configuration solutions. (Required) Demonstrated experience in I-9 compliance management (Required) Ability to work effectively in both a team setting or independently in a dynamically changing environment. (Required) Lean Six Sigma Functional understanding of Lean Six Sigma concepts (Preferred) Microsoft SharePoint Experience utilizing SharePoint (Preferred) ADP Vantage Experience in management of HR Data in ADP Vantage (Preferred) Kronos Experience in management of HR Data in Kronos (Preferred) Project Management Experience implementing projects that deliver results and provide value to the business (Preferred) Licenses and Certifications: • At least 18 years of age • Legally authorized to work in the United States • T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, unless precluded from doing so by applicable law.
