What You'll Do:- Design and Develop UIs: Take a lead role in designing user interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing, ensuring a smooth user experience.
- Develop Microservices: Work on creating and integrating microservices into our software architecture, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
- Innovative Problem Solving: Actively participate in team discussions to identify innovative solutions to complex technical problems, contributing your unique perspective and ideas.
- UI Tool Development: Design and develop user interface tools, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. Implement modern design principles to create responsive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces.
- Microservices: Contribute to the development and deployment of microservices, focusing on scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Work with the team to design, code, and integrate these services into our larger system architecture.
- Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Work closely with other team members, including designers and backend developers, to ensure a cohesive and efficient development process. Participate actively in problem-solving discussions to address challenges that arise in UI design and microservices implementation.
- Learning and Adaptation: Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks relevant to UI/UX design and microservices. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to contribute innovative ideas to our projects.
Required Skills and Credentials
- Understanding of Microservices Architecture: Basic knowledge of developing and deploying microservices, including familiarity with relevant technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools.
- Experience with UI/UX Design: Demonstrated understanding of user interface design principles and experience in creating user-centric web interfaces.
- Version Control Systems: Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- API Development and Integration: Understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated with the last year
- Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships

Relocation reimbursement may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location.
