Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects, providing strategic direction, guidance, and mentorship to project teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with IT projects to ensure successful outcomes.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Communicate project status, risks, and key milestones effectively to leadership and project sponsors.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within project teams. Encourage open communication, knowledge sharing, and effective problem-solving.
- Implement and oversee quality assurance measures to ensure the reliability and performance of IT solutions. Conduct post-implementation reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide significant Project Management support to the AvSS A-10 Teamcenter. This organization requires significant support to ensure that the Teamcenter Information Systems (IS) hosted at the Hill CEDC deliver rapid technology advancements to the warfighter. This individual will provide project management aimed at expedited IS hosting support.
- Primary responsibility is interacting with the customer, understanding mission requirements, translating those to technology requirements, and gauging/contextualizing risk
- The short term goal: evaluating SOPs and refactoring them to improve them, evaluate the trouble tickets to help identify root cause
- Mid term goal: to look at the types of tickets, and associated ticket velocity to identify potential emerging technologies that could be used to streamline problem resolution as well as identifying the types of information that we should be collecting from the customer to forecast impact.
- Longer term goal is to: manage projects during the onboarding process to ensure that the customer's applications - including SLAs, KPIs, MOUs and MOAs are documented. Making sure that the processes needed to forecast resource requirements and anticipated utilization are accurate, determining fit for cloud adoption/migration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or IT related field with five (5) or more years of related professional experience. A Master's Degree and 3 years of experience may be substituted.
- Must possess an Interim or Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and architecture.
- Requires a general understanding of application architecture, an ability to gather requirements and understanding pain points, and be the primary ambassador for the customer.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified SCRUM Master (CSM) certifications are strongly desired.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
