Job Summary: This position has the responsibility for planning/scheduling all day-today production operations. Plans and establishes production schedules. Monitors material inventories, tracks progress of production, and reviews factors which affect schedules. The position contributes to achieving the objectives through coordination of workflow and quality.
Job Description:
- Strong planning and scheduling. Labor needs/cost, material availability to meet customer requirements and satisfy the current planned level and meet the customers forecasted objectives.
- Coordinate production workflow for multiple products over multiple lines of production.
- Decisive making skills around recommendations that have a substantial daily impact on operations and performance.
- Excellent follow-up ability in assuring maximum schedule performance measures.
- Assist with monitoring of materials inventory to effectively determine the production schedules.
- Maintain the SAP production schedule, and material resource planning systems.
- High skills at making last minute changes and motivated to keep all production, employees and client(s) updated.
- Continuous improvement background for production scheduling processes and information flow.
Job Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:
- High School education or GED equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in related course of study preferred.
- At least 1-3 years of experience as a Planner/Scheduler
- Proficient knowledge on SAP software is required.
- 1-3 years planning/scheduling/supply chain and distribution management experience preferably with SAP system.
- Supervisor experience managing a team.
- Strong forecasting/labor overtime requirements.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook

Ergonomics:
- This position requires you to sit for long periods of time. At times you will be standing, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, lifting (minimal), repetitive motion of typing, filing, computer process.
- Work in the office environment as well with other departments.
- Moves intermittently during working hours.
- Subjected to frequent interruptions.
- Requires repetitive hand motion, minimal lifting and carrying requirements.
Working Conditions:
- Is subject to call back during emergency conditions to include inclement weather, emergency evacuations, sever weather, post disaster, etc.
